Food and Drink Event

As part of Erddig's 40th anniversary celebrations, the annual weekend event for will become a month-long event. Savour the delights of the humble apple at our 27th annual apple festival. Our orchards are full to the brim - 180 varieties are grown.

Throughout the month there will be an apple display, trail, cider press demonstrations, with opportunities to taste - and buy - the fruits of our labour, apple talks and walks. Each week the festival has a different theme; it's fitness first, after all an apple a day keeps the doctor away! Week two is set to get the creative juices flowing with art, live music and poetry; week three the taste buds tingling with cookery demonstrations; and four flies back in time for apple history and science.
