From the 6 - 28 October, join us for a month long celebration of all things apple. Savour the delights of the humble apple at our 28th annual apple harvest. With 180 varieties grown here, our orchards are full and ready to be explored. There will be plenty for everyone to enjoy throughout the month with an apple display, indoor and outdoor trails, cider press demonstrations, apple talks and walks.

Tuesdays - Join us each Tuesday for a series of apple themed talks:-
9 and 23 October (12pm - 4pm) - apple carving with Ian Williams
9, 16, 23 & 30 October (1:15pm) - apple display talk with our garden team
9, 16, 23 & 30 October (2:30pm) - apple walk and talk in the garden with our volunteer team
30 October (1pm and 3pm) - Jayne Hunt of the Welsh Perry and Cider Society will be giving a talk.

Wednesdays - 10, 17 & 24 October (11am & 2pm) - join our apple walk and talk in the garden with our volunteer team.

Thursdays - 11th, 18th & 26th October - Join us for some wild art adventures in Wolf's Den; aimed specifically at pre-schoolers.

Fridays - Join us each Friday for apple themed food and drink activities:-
12 & 19 Oct (12pm & 2pm) - baking demonstration of apple scones in the house kitchen
12, 19 & 26 Oct (11am - 3pm) - fresh apple juice tasting and sales
12, 19 & 26 Oct - apple baking display in the house + Apple tasting and sales
19 & 26 Oct (11am - 3pm) - Rosie's cider tasting

Each weekend there will new experiences to enjoy from storytelling to live music, workshops to beekeeping - there really will be something for everyone!

6th & 7th October Weekend - Join us for cider and sausages as Ifton Band performs their favourite tunes early afternoon. There’s apple dipping (small charge applies), storytelling with Jake Evans, bushcraft, Punch and Judy, Nordic walking mini taster sessions (Sat), beginner photography walk (Sun) and an opportunity to meet Erddig’s top apple doctor - Head Gardener, Glyn Smith 11am to 4pm. Erddig apples from our orchards will also be available to buy all weekend.

13th & 14th October Weekend - Discover our apple baking display in the house, visit the sausage and cider bar, try apple dipping (small charge applies), Nordic walking mini taster sessions (Sat) and enjoy a tale with Storyteller Jake Evans. Meet Mr Phoebus for his Penny Farthing demonstrations Sun) and Erddig’s top apple doctor, Glyn Smith 11am to 4pm. Erddig apples from our orchards will also be available to buy all weekend.

20th & 21st October Weekend - Discover the historic process of apple pressing with our cider press demonstrations. Join our beekeepers’ talk, apple dipping (small charge applies), a Nordic walking mini taster session (Sat) and storytelling with Jake Evans. Meet Mr Phoebus for his Penny Farthing demonstrations and Erddig’s top apple doctor, Glyn Smith 11am to 4pm. Erddig apples from our orchards will also be available to buy all weekend.

27th & 28th October Weekend - It’s your final opportunity to catch the cider and sausage bar and the apple baking display in the house. There’s apple dipping (small charge applies), Jake Evans storytelling, Nordic walking mini taster sessions (Sat) and Mr Phoebus Penny Farthing display (Sun). Erddig apples from our orchards will also be available to buy all weekend.
