Walking with the equines

Walking with the equines

It’s well known that spending time with friendly animals is good for wellbeing, so combine a short walk around Erddig’s 1,200-acre estate with meeting our equine residents. The short circular walk starts in Erddig’s stables and continues along the west front of the house into Big Wood. This 30-minute walk takes you past the striking Stansty gates, allowing a glimpse of the 12.5-acre walled garden and views of the house. Walks rotate between horses and donkeys, so not both at the same time.
