Jester Day

Jester Day

Baldwin the Fool and Godfrey Pugh bring jester, juggling, jollity and stilt walking to Cilgerran Castle!

A perennially popular family entertainment that was an integral part of court life in Medieval times. As well as the shows there will be the opportunity to join in and play the fool.

Jesters brought fun and colour to the medieval castle. They enjoyed special privileges within the household, and sometimes power as the Lord of Misrule. An authentic and amusing show that will enthral and entertain the whole family.
