Ranger Rambles

Ranger Rambles

Join one of our Ranger team for a ramble through Chirk Castle's beautiful and important 480 acre estate.

The Chirk estate is one of the finest examples of ancient wood pasture estate in Wales, and since 1996 has been a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for veteran trees, deadwood invertebrates, bats and grassland fungi.

Walks are of differing lengths and difficulties - please ring the castle beforehand if you need more details.

The ramble is free and there's no need to book, just meet at the Outdoor Hub at 1pm.
