The Turner family has run Cwmfforest Riding Centre since 1970 and has developed a range of fully inclusive quality riding holidays through magnificent countryside for capable adult riders. Situated in an unspoilt valley deep in the beautiful Black Mountains of mid Wales, 14 miles from Abergavenny, Brecon and Hay-on-Wye. Friendly greeting, log fires, comfortable bed, wholesome traditional fare and a trustworthy Welsh Cob to carry you to the back of beyond.

60 Welsh Cobs and crosses, selected for temperament and character, all reliable, friendly and sure-footed, and guaranteed to give you an excellent ride.

Black Mountain trails lasting between 2 days and a week, suitable for novice riders. Week long National Park trails. Demanding Trans Wales Trails, ending on the beach near Aberystwyth, suitable for experienced riders. Also weekend trails. All year round.
