About

Tregoyd Mountain Riders offer horse riding, pony trekking, hacking, riding holidays, riding lessons, bed & breakfast for horses and riders and livery in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Have fun as you learn to ride......

British Horse Society trained and qualified staff help students gain confidence and enjoyment.
The staff are experienced in working with children and adults. Horse riding lessons with school horses are held in the menage which is floodlit with a surface of sand & rubber.

The mounts are carefully chosen for their reliable temperament and good manners and those new to riding will find that with good sensible mounts, expert advice and tuition both in the paddock and during the ride, by the end of the day they will be confident, knowledgeable riders. The mounts and riding escorts are very experienced and visitors require no previous experience to enjoy riding in this beautiful part of Wales.

Riders are asked to assemble at 9.30am for one day and half day morning rides and 1.30pm for afternoon rides. Riders should wear suitable clothing such as anoraks, sweater, jodhpurs or jeans (preferably loose fitting) riding boots, wellingtons or strong shoes. Riding hats are available at no extra cost. Lunch break is usually taken at one of the local mountain Inns.
