Details

Tree and Wood is a new immersive outdoor performance from Jony Easterby (for the Birds), exploring our relationship with trees and forests. In the darkness, between the trees, the audience take a journey through a landsape of sound, light and song tracing a narrative of arcadia, colonisation, deforestation, war, industry and ecological restoration. With Nathaniel Mann, Emily Williams (Ember) and Matthew Oldern (the Might Jungulator).

Please note that this performance includes an approx. 2km walk over uneven ground, and customers will need to arrive by 7pm to ensure they don't miss the start of the show at 7:30pm.

By bicycle: (Sustrans cycle route) Route 8.
By train: The nearest train station is Machynlleth (6 miles). Proceed by bus or taxi to the reserve from there. If you are coming by bike, it is possible to get a train to Dyfi Junction and cycle the 2 miles to the reserve.
By bus: There is a regular bus service between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth that stops in Eglwys-fach (Service X28).
By road: The reserve is situated between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth. Turn off the A487 in the village of Eglwys-fach and proceed for one mile to the car park.

Accessible by Public Transport: 2 miles from Dovey Junction station
