Details

Based in Aberystwyth, Mid Wales, Ian has been creating hand printed reduction Linocut for over 20 years. “I specialise in consecutive series of prints taken from drawings done while walking long distance footpaths or exploring particular areas of scenic beauty”. We are very pleased to have a selection of Ian’s work on show at the reserve depicting scenes and wildlife from the area.

By bicycle: (Sustrans cycle route) Route 8

By train: The nearest train station is Machynlleth. Proceed by bus or taxi to the reserve from there. If you are coming by bike, it is possible to get a train to Dyfi Junction and cycle the 2 miles to the reserve.

By bus: There is a regular bus service between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth that stops in Eglwys-fach.

By road: The reserve is situated between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth. Turn off the A487 in the village of Eglwys-fach and proceed for one mile to the car park.

The Reserve is 2 miles from Dovey Junction Railway Station & 6 from Machynlleth.

Parking: free

Accessible by Public Transport: 2 miles from Dovey Junction station
