Details
One of the largest of its kind in Britain, the Barmouth Walking Festival attracts over 150 people across 10 days in September to participate in an extensive programme of walks led by knowledgeable, local guides. The Walking Festival has been developed with the aim of encouraging visitors to explore the magnificent surroundings in the company of other walkers.
Ranging from short half-day rambles to full-day hikes intended for experienced walkers, the festival programme includes over 35 graded walks and provides the opportunity to try little known routes as well as some of the most popular walks in the area. The festival also includes three evening events with food for you to meet and socialise with other walkers
