Details

Wales Rally GB will be the 12th round of the FIA World Rally Championship in 2019 and will take place from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th October.

Sunday sees the WRC action return to north Wales with two tough forest stages close to the Llyn Brenig Reservoir, an adventure playground set high up in the heart of the Denbigh Moors. Both Alwen and Brenig tests, repeats of 2017 when the event was famously won by local hero Elfyn Evans, will be run twice either side of a timed section around the iconic Great Orme peninsula, following by a short mid-morning service halt back in Llandudno. The second visit to Brenig is the event’s concluding Wolf Power Stage, offering surviving crews the chance to score bonus championship points in front of a live global television audience.

After a brief TV podium for the overall winners at the Brenig Visitor Centre, official prize-giving for all those completing the 2019 Wales Rally GB will take place at the Ceremonial Finish on Llandudno Promenade.

Stage 18 is at Alwen with the first ars due at 07:24 followed by Stage 19 at Brenig at 08:08. The re-runs are at 11:06 (Stage 21 Alwen) and 12:18 (Stage 22 Brenig).
