Details
The cycle route heads inland from the town of Dolgellau across the Cambrian Mountains and heads South East towards Builth Wells and Llanelwedd.
Much of this section of route is on-road. However between Dolgellau and Machynlleth it is following local country lanes. South of Machynlleth it is on the Dylife Mountain Road which is generally a quiet road.
Towards Rhayader and Builth Wells the route is via country lanes but isnt traffic free. There are small sections which run onto the A470 which is busy North-South road in Wales.

The section of the cycle route begins in Dolgellau and heads South East Via the towns of Machynlleth and then crossing the Cambrian Mountains. It then passes Llanidloes and Rhayader before arriving in Builth Wells and Llanelwedd.
