He has performed to audiences all over the UK and Europe at venues ranging from Buckingham Palace to Glastonbury Festival and his new compositions are inspired by the trees of Sussex.

Richard Osborne has been making guitars and mandolins for twenty years. He learnt the trade in Stephen Hill’s Spanish guitar workshop in Lewes, Sussex and progressed on to his own workshop. Here he continued to make his own steel string guitars and mandolin family instruments alongside a busy repair business which led him to working for some well known names in the music industry. He moved to Llanidloes in Mid Wales four years ago with his family where he teaches his month long guitar making courses for three months a year and makes to order the rest of the time.
