Details

A fairly strenuous walk of about 9.5 km (6 miles), suitable for older children, but not recommended for young children or people with limited mobility.

This walk climbs past old coal and iron workings to Keeper's Pond and the Foxhunter Car Park. We then follow the ridge of Mynydd y Garn Fawr, passing the Bronze-Age cairn Carn y Defaid and eventually descending to join the Llanofer Road, which we follow back to the World Heritage Centre.

Bring refreshments.
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the terrain and weather.
No dogs allowed on this event.
