James Clark is gifted jazz pianist, accordionist and arranger and a well-known Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama student who's played at the London Jazz Festival, Southbank Centre and appeared in SC4's Band Cymru as a finalist. He leads multiple bands from a duo with saxophonist Rob Griffin to his own original big band, James Clark's Lonely Hearts Rugby Clwb. Playing the accordion alongside a drummer and bass, Bridgend Designer Outlet will be entertained with uplifting, classic music from the 'American Songbook' along with James' original compositions influenced from music from all over the world from Brazil to Bulgaria.
Josh Heaton and Zach Breskal are a saxophone and drum duo hailing from Lancashire and North London respectively, becoming firm friends and musical colleagues whilst studying, listening to, and playing music together in Cardiff at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Aiming to express themselves through natural improvisation in a jazz context, a personal conversation is had between the two musicians on their instruments; one which is, they hope, exciting to overhear and exhilarating to perform.
Tom Ollendorff is a recent graduate of the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, specialising in the complexities of jazz guitar. Alongside a saxophonist, Tom will lead this duo through stimulating renderings of original jazz pieces and fine standards. With standout performances at the renowned Jazz Heritage Wales & Brecon Jazz Club, Silvershine Jazz Club and The Guildhall Welsh Jazz Club Concerts, Tom showcases jazz guitar in its purest art-form.
