Details

Winner of Wales in Bloom for 40 years, Usk's floral colour is a wonderful backdrop to the gardens. Around 10 private gardens will be open, including the private gardens around the ramparts at Usk Castle. Gardeners' Market with interesting plants. Great day out for all the family with lots of places to eat and drink incl places to picnic. Sorry but NGS discretionary entry tickets are not accepted at this event, and in line with current regulations, there will be no minibus taxi service.

Features and Attractions
Various cafes, PH and restaurants available for refreshments, plus volunteer groups offering teas and cakes. Wheel-chair accessible gardens and gardens allowing well-behaved dogs on leads noted on ticket/map available for collection on presentation of pre-booked ticket receipt from the desk at the free car park at Usk Memorial Hall (NP15 1AD).

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Guidance
The event will be conducted in line with Welsh Government regulations in force at the time of the event. The organisers respectfully request that all visitors respect the usual general 2m physical distancing and mask-wearing regulations, etc, make use of the hygiene facilities provided, and follow the one-way systems and signage guidance to keep all our lovely visitors, gardeners and volunteers safe.

By train: First Great Western Trains to Newport, Monmouthshire or rural services to Cwmbran in Torfaen, followed by local bus or taxi services to Usk.

By bus: There are regular bus services to Usk from Chepstow, Cwmbran, Newport, Monmouth and Raglan. Travellers from outside the area should arrive at one of these destinations and pick up local services from there.

By road: From West Wales take the M4 motorway east to Junction 24, then the A449 signposted to Monmouth, exit at the signposts for Usk and follow the main road (A472) for approximately 1 mile into the town centre.
