Details

Open doors at one of the finest examples of a workhouse built under the New Poor Law of 1834: a handsome stone building in a beautiful setting on the road to Lake Vyrnwy.

There will be guided tours, an art exhibition, open workshops, craft stalls, live music and activities for children. Refreshments available.

This year there will be a Food Fair with stalls offering a range of local produce to eat, drink and enjoy and cookery demonstrations to watch. Young music makers, singers and cloggers Teulu will entertain along with local jazz band Cafe Lola and harpist John Browne. Some workshops and studios will be open to view with an art exhibition in the Gallery. Special guided tours. Light lunches and refreshments.
