The Amelia Trust is a Care Farm set on 160 acres of countryside in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. Visitors are invited to see, hear and smell a working farm which also provides an alternative education for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people as part of its charitable purpose.
From the moment you enter the Amelia Trust you can enjoy all that it has to offer, outdoor play area, the small animals centre, woodland paths, fairy and gnome trail*, bird watching, piglet trail, fitness trail, amphitheatre, prayer labyrinth and for the more adventurous, Tree Tops Challenge*. Throughout the year various fun events such as pond dipping, craft making, treasure hunts and family fun days are held and these are advertised via our website and Facebook page.
When you are in need of refreshment enjoy drinks, hot and cold snacks as well as homemade cakes in the Farm Kitchen café.
How about being a “Farmer” for a day, treat your child to the experience of learning about farming from our animal care workers.
We also offer birthday parties at the Farm, we can arrange for your children to get up close and personal with the animals followed by a tea party in the Farm Kitchen. Please enquire about other types of party that we can offer.
It is a fantastic recipe that makes the Amelia Trust Farm an amazing place to be!
