Llanbedr Beer Festival

Llanbedr Beer Festival

Once again we will be offering a wide range of beers from North and Mid Wales and cider as well.
Venue: Ty Mawr Hotel, Llanbedr LL45 2NH.

Our line-up of great entertainment for the weekend:-
12:00-18:00 A period of quiet background music with recorded music and live entertainment including Gwenno and Lowri playing the harp.
18:00-20:00 Johnny & Hywel. Johnny from Machynlleth and Hywel from Carno have performed together for over 11 years all over Mid and North Wales. Johnny sings bass and plays keyboard and Hywel sings tenor. They play a wide selection of classical Welsh folk songs, Country and Western and 1960s rock and roll.
20:30-23:00 Patrobas - Wil Chidley, Iestyn Tyne, Carwyn Williams and Gruffydd Davies; all four are natives to the Llyn, North Wales. The band was formed three years ago, and following the release of their first EP; Dwyn y Dail in 2015, the band has accelerated from strength to strength. They play mostly their own compositions together with other popular Welsh songs.

1200-1800 Quiet background music with recorded music and live entertainment including David Bradley - jazz/swing.
18:00-20:00 Wil Tân. Wil is, not surprisingly, a fireman from Anglesey who started to sing in public whilst visiting friends in Conemara and Galway, which led to him recording a song for his mother. He has released 7 CDs and his performances fill venues throughout Wales. He will be accompanied by a keyboard player and another vocalist and sings a selection of popular Welsh songs and Irish ballads in English.
20:30-23:00 Gwyn & Nan (and friends) - Gwyn and Nan from Cynwyd near Corwen have been together for over 40 years and have recently started touring again after a break for family commitments. Nan plays guitar and they both sing a selection of their own compositions and Country and Western numbers in both English and Welsh. They will be joined on stage by other members of the family.
