About

The beach is east facing and sheltered and in a stunning rural and unspoilt location. Owned by the National Trust, the beach forms part of the South Pembrokeshire Heritage Coast and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Access to the beach is only possible by foot along the coast path and includes steep steps. Swimming, relaxing and enjoying the walk along the coast path area are all popular activities. Much of the land in this area forms part of the Stackpole Estate, and includes the nearby Bosherston Lily Ponds, a wildlife haven famous for its otters, wildfowl and dragonflies.

Green Coast and Seaside Award beach. Not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to steep steps down to the beach from the cliff top. Cafe and toilets at Stackpole Quay (National Trust car park) approximately half a mile from the beach and pub in Stackpole Village. Dogs are allowed.
