Beach, free entry

A wide bay of golden sand backed by dunes with a stream running through the beach at its southern end. At low tide the sea reveals plenty of sand for all those ball games without worrying the neighbours! The low cliffs at the eastern end provide some nice private ‘bays’.

Behind the beach is Freshwater Bay Caravan Park with an outdoor activity centre and the Longhouse cafe & restaurant. A café/restaurant can be found in Freshwater East village together with a pub and shop.

Green Coast and Seaside Award beach. The beach is easily reached by car and has a car park with 80 spaces (charges may apply); it also has a slipway for launching boats.
