Details

This small pebble beach is used as the embarkation point for boats to Skomer Island, probably the most important seabird site in southern Britain. Lockley Lodge, an interpretation centre for The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, is above the beach.

There is plenty of activity as the beach is a favourite with divers heading out into the Skomer Marine Nature Reserve. It’s a very steep walk from the car park down to the beach.

Green Coast and Seaside Award beach. Toilets; nearest facilities are in the village of Marloes which has a pub, restaurant and café/bar. National Trust car park.
