Details

Penally beach is at the far end of Tenby’s South Beach and is less busy than the main Tenby beaches. The beach is a mix of sand and shingle but is protected from the wind by Giltar Point headland; good views across to Caldey Island. Walk across the dunes from Penally railway station to get there - although this path can be closed as it crosses a rifle range.

Green Coast and Seaside Award beach; dogs are allowed. The nearest facilities are in Tenby.
