Details

West Dale Bay has a sandy and pebbly beach on St Ann's Head, backed with weak Old Red Sandstone cliffs, making the access path steep and crumbly. It is popular with surfers, but bathing is discouraged due to strong currents.

Green Coast and Seaside Award beach. Dogs are allowed. Parking in Dale or a car park by the old airfield on the road to St Anne’s lighthouse. Cafe, pub, shop and toilets in Dale.
