Snowdonia for Science is a revitalisation of the well-known and established Snowdon 500 & Welsh 3 Peaks challenges, created by Matt Rannamets to put a positive into his prostate cancer diagnosis. His idea proved successful, having raised over £1 million for prostate cancer research in the last 12 years.

Brought to you by the Prostate Cancer Research Centre (PCRC). We focus on science, research and innovation, concentrating on developing novel and effective treatments for men with advanced prostate cancer. This is because whilst prostate cancer is treatable in the prostate, it become incurable and life-limiting when it spreads. We may be small, but we are ambitious and its inspiring events like Snowdonia for Science that allow us to fund such great research.

We are delighted to present this event in Matt's memory with the original friends, family and volunteers so that new supporters can experience this wonderful, wholesome event.
