Details

Aberffraw beach, also known as Traeth Mawr, is a big, wide curving sandy bay. Access to the beach is by foot along the sandy bank of the River Ffraw. The Anglesey Coastal Path runs from the beach in both directions and has magnificent scenery; at low tide visitors can walk to the far side of the bay.

The small village has a shop,cafe and toilets. Dogs are allowed.
