Trearddur Bay Beach

About

Trearddur Bay is situated within a couple of miles of the town of Holyhead. The beach has a sheltered and marked bathing area with rock pooling and rambling, it is also popular for water sports including canoeing, surfboarding and water skiing as well as sea fishing and sailing. The local sailing club holds an annual regatta here and the village hosts a popular annual Oyster Festival; children's playground just behind the beach. Just south of the village is the Porth Diana Nature Reserve, home of the Spotted Rock Rose, Anglesey's county flower.
