About

Porth Tywyn Mawr is one of Anglesey's larger beaches, with plenty of space for activity seekers to make the most of the area alongside the holidaymakers' sand castles.

The beach is located near Llanfaethlu and is good for most watersports. Walks can be taken on and around the beach and there are opportunities for golf and horse riding nearby. Facilities such as toilets can be found a few miles north in Church Bay. Llanfaethlu offers a village shop and a pub/restaurant.
