About

Abererch’s beautiful beach, an ideal place for families, extends all the way to Pwllheli. It’s pristine and unspoilt, with a shallow gradient and wonderful views of Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia. It’s also popular with adrenaline addicts - activities include windsurfing, water skiing, diving and sailing. In addition, other activities that are popular here are kite flying (since conditions can be great) and fishing, especially on a spring tide. On the whole, Abererch beach is known for being a quiet and tranquil place, ideal for sitting back, relaxing and enjoying the views.

Limited free parking. Dog restrictions apply April - end September.

Road Directions

A497 from Porthmadog. Just east of Pwllheli, continue past Hafan y Mor Holiday Park and at the next roundabout (the village of Abererch is signed to the right), turn left (signed to station). Travel over the railway level crossing by the little station and car park for the beach is on the right.
