Abersoch Beach

Details

Originally a fishing port, now a popular seaside resort, Abersoch has a large, relatively sheltered sandy beach on the southeast facing side of the Llyn Peninsula. The beach is considered to be "safe" with no severe currents or rips in normal conditions and a motor boat exclusion zone provides a secure area for bathers. The beach is a renowned centre for sailing and watersports. Beach huts can be rented by the day or week; enquire at the beach cafes.

Blue Flag and Seaside Award beach. Good range of shops, cafes, pubs and other services in the village. Toilets, pay parking. Dog restrictions apply April to end September.
