Monty's Visitor Centre is a great place to relax and learn all things Monty's. Its a great base whether you are a Walkers (bring your dog in!), strolling round the historic town or just passing through. Come and learn about the brewing process and sample some of the best beers available. There is a style for everyone, from Golden Ales, to Stouts, with a number of them being gl;uten free too. There are videos playing of the brewing process and other local attractions. Monty's has brewed award winning beers for many years now, this is the place to try, pick up some bottled beer for your holiday or friends.

By Car from Welshpool: head southwest towards the A483, exiting the roundabout on the A483. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A490 towards Churchstoke/Montgomery. Continue straight for 6 miles onto the B4388, then turn left onto the B4385. Promptly turn left onto Gaol Road and then left again onto Manor House Close. The Cottage is the large white brick building. (approx time 10 mins)
By Car from Newtown train station: Upon leaving the station head north east onto Fford Croesawdy towards Brimmon Lane. Turn right onto Old Kerry Road and then left towards the A483. At the traffic lights turn right onto the A483 and continue on for 4 miles before turning right onto the B4386 towards Abermule. Continue on straight through the village and take the 2nd exit on the roundabout. Head straight on towards montgomery, then turn right to stay on the B4385. Continue on until you come to a sharp left hand turn, the Cottage is the large white brick building on the right. (approx time 15 mins)
