Whitland railway station is on the West Wales line between Carmarthen and Fishguard and is the junction for the Tenby and Pembroke Dock branch; it is located on the south side of the town off the B4328. The postcode is SA34 0AP. The station is unstaffed; buy tickets on the train. Live Departure and Arrival screens. Car parking no charge for passengers - 5 spaces. When arriving by train, for the town centre turn right and then left.

Services Monday to Saturday include trains every hour to/from Carmarthen & Swansea and every two hours to/from Cardiff, Newport, Abergavenny, Shrewsbury and Manchester Piccadilly plus additional services. To the west, services are to/from Tenby & Pembroke, Haverfordwest & Milford Haven and Fishguard. Reduced service on Sundays.
