Situated close to the village, Llwyngwril is a shingle and boulder beach with sand and rock pools at low tide on a very picturesque stretch of the coast. The right conditions can produce good surfing but for experienced surfers only due to the boulders on the beach.

Toilets, dogs are allowed.

Llwyngwril is on the A493 between Tywyn and Fairbourne. Entering the village from the south, pass left turn signed for the station and over the river bridge; next left is signed as footpath to the beach with sign for car park on right.

Accessible by Public Transport: Llwyngwril station is 0.2 miles away.
