A cliff backed rocky beach but with a wide expanse of sand exposed at low tide; there are plenty of rock pools to keep any budding explorer happy for hours. At low tide stepping stones allow you to cross the Sandy Haven Pill but make sure you keep an eye on the tide as it could be a 4 mile walk back to the car park near Herbrandston!
