About

Aber Falls Whisky Distillery is one of only four in Wales, and the first in North Wales since the early 1900s.
Located within a stone’s throw of Rhaeadr Fawr, the famous Aber Falls waterfall, our whisky is distilled, bottled and matured in our distillery, using specially crafted Welsh ingredients from the surrounding area. With whisky available from 2020, we also have a premium range of small batch, handcrafted gins and liqueurs.

Our visitor centre is now open, offering you the chance to see the distillery and sample some of our award-winning portfolio.
Tours run between 12 and 4pm, Thursday to Sunday including most bank holidays and last approximately 40 minutes.
Maximum of 12 people per tour, booking is advised as we currently operate a first come, first served basis.

The village of Abergwyngregyn is home to our distillery, and sits at the foot of the famous Aber Falls waterfall. Attracting over 50,000 visitors a year, this picturesque spot is easily accessible, just off the A55 and a stone’s throw from the coast.

Previously a slate works in the 19th century, a margarine factory during the world wars, and more recently a drinks wholesaler depot, our building has been lovingly restored and refurbished, proving the ideal place to create our spirits and demonstrate the passion and skill in our craftsmanship.
