A simple challenge, Cardiff to Tenby "100 miles, on a bike, in a day". Not a race, not a sportive, just a ride to Tenby!
CARTEN100 takes a fairly direct route from Cardiff to Tenby, using A-Roads, B-Roads and cycle routes. There are some climbs, none too difficult, but in Wales there is not a lot of flat land!
The START of the event is at one of the most iconic locations at the City Hall in Cardiff CF10 3ND.
The CARTEN100 is open to all ages and abilities are encouraged to ‘have a go’ having undertaken at least some training, as although it is fun, it is also a challenge.
From the outset of CARTEN100 the two main objectives of this fun cycle are to set an achievable challenge for novice riders to encourage them to become fit and enjoy cycling, and to raise money for good causes – in 2018 we celebrated a million pounds raised.
