Cerrig Y Barcud

About

Cerrig y Barcud offers eight exceptional holiday cottages sleeping from two to six guests. Beautifully furnished, well equipped and perfectly located only 300 yards from the Menai Straits on the Southern corner of Anglesey. Cerrig y Barcud is in an idyllic setting set well back from a quiet country lane with uninterrupted panoramic views of the surrounding countryside including the mountains of Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula from which the cottages take their names.

Cerrig y Barcud is an extremely friendly, family run business, and whatever your choice of cottage, you will feel at home from the moment you open the front door. Once our guests have discovered Cerrig y Barcud, many return again and again.

We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our cottages, and you will find your cottage contains high quality furniture and equipment in immaculate condition, which has been carefully prepared for you.

We also provide an outdoor play area as well as a games room which includes pool, table tennis and table football as well as books, dvds and games for your use during your stay with us. A laundry is also available throughout your stay.

Anglesey really does have something for everyone, and whatever your holiday requirements, Cerrig y Barcud is an ideal base for your holiday. Despite their peaceful setting, our cottages are only 10 minutes from the Britannia Bridge, so that the attractions of both Anglesey and North Wales are within easy reach. Furthermore, Cerrig y Barcud is ideally located between two of the island’s most popular family attractions – Foel Farm Park and the Anglesey Sea Zoo.

Approach Anglesey on the A55 Expressway and cross over the Brittania Bridge to the Island.

At the end of the Bridge, keep well in to the left and immediately fork left, following brown signs to Anglesey Sea Zoo and sign for A5.

After 1/4 mile, turn sharp left at the white cottage, A4080, signs to Brynsiencyn, Newborough and the Sea Zoo.
