Cae Mor Hotel Access Statement The Hotel is located on the main Promenade in Llandudno next to Venue Cymru, the car park for the hotel is approached from the left hand side of the hotel. When traveling to the hotel by car leave the A55 at junction 19 and follow the signs for A470 Llandudno and town centre. Go through three roundabouts and at the fourth turn right following the signs for A470 town centre. Take the right hand lane and at the next roundabout turn right (third exit) following the signs for the Promenade, go straight over the next roundabout towards the promenade, at the next roundabout take the first exit and continue along the promenade for 200 meters, past the North Wales Theatre, and our car park is immediately after on the left. From the Car park the hotel is accessed by either the side entrance by climbing up 3 stone steps (120 mm each in height) to a level platform and then through inward opening doors and up a further step (150 mm in height.) Alternatively you can follow the path from the car park along the front of the hotel to the main entrance which has a slight gradient up to 120 mm in height towards the inward opening double doors; reception is directly in front of you. When accessing the hotel from the pavement there is a 120 mm step up on to the hotel pathway. When accessing the hotel from the side entrance reception is along the hallway past the restaurant on your left and the lounge bar on the right, the lift and the stair case, through the inward opening fire door (900 mm wide) where you will find reception located on your left. Currently our reception desk has a high counter top and no hearing loop system. Reception is open 24 hours; receptionists are on duty between the hours of 7am and 10pm, after which a night porter is available. On the ground floor we have two disabled friendly rooms, both with en-suite facilities, one of which is fully equipped for wheelchair users. The lift is located at the base of the main stair well and services all floors, howeve r some rooms may be inaccessible for certain wheelchair users due to the nature of the building. The public toilets (male, female and disabled) are situated on the ground floor just pass reception (on the right as you face reception.) The doorways through to each toilet measures as follows, male 730mm, female and disabled 860mm for the outer door and 900mm for the inner door. The Restaurant, Library and Lounge Bar are all situated on the ground floor and are fully accessible. Menus can be read to the visually impaired guests. Staff members are on hand to assist with carrying luggage to bedrooms. Taxis can be arranged to and from the train and coach stations upon request, please advise the hotel prior to your arrival if this service is required. The Town Centre is just under 10 Minutes walk from the hotel, turn left out of the hotel and walk up the Promenade, turn left when you reach the Imperial Hotel (about 450 meters) continue along the footpath until you reach the next road junction, turn right and you are now on the main shopping street.
