Details
At The Cambrian Inn, we have three fresh and tastefully decorated en-suite letting rooms situated above the main restaurant and available on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
The rooms, each named after one of Pembrokeshire's island reserves, are designed to provide you with your own place of refuge after a hard day on the coastal path, a great meal in the restaurant or even both!
Breakfast is served in our bright and sunny (fingers crossed!) breakfast room off the main bar.
The lounge bar with its relaxed atmosphere is the perfect place to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink, or if you are not heading for the main dining room, you can just sit back and relax in one of the comfy chesterfields, enjoy your drink, order some snacks or delve into our wonderful bar menu, available every lunch and evening.
With dishes like our Pembrokeshire Wagyu beef burger using the finest meat reared in the county and a selection of fresh fish caught daily by Solva fishermen you can get a true taste of Pembrokeshire.
The main dining room, with it’s exposed stonework, original pitch pine beams and contemporary furnishings provides the perfect environment for you and your party to enjoy your selection of dishes and wines that have been carefully put together by the resident Head Chef, Matthew Cox and his team.
We like to feel we cater for all, with a wide selection of meat, poultry, fish, game and of course vegetarian dishes using only the best local produce wherever possible. Matthew’s menus reflect his simple yet sophisticated approach, which relies on the quality of the ingredients to speak for themselves.
Don't just take our word for it, please see our Tripadvisor pages to see what other guests and dinners think, and the team at The Cambrian Inn hope to welcome you soon.
Children welcome from any age.

Solva is a picturesque harbour village situated on the north coast of St. Brides Bay in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, on the main route to the Cathedral City of St. David’s.
On entering the village from the east, you will pass over the Grade II listed stone arched bridge traversing the River Solva, and immediately to your right you will find The Cambrian Inn situated at the junction of Main Street and Prendergast Road (also known as Middle Mill Lane).
Blessed with a stunning scenic tidal foreshore the harbour offers fantastic opportunities for messing about on the water at high tide, or pottering about in rock pools and enjoying the sandy beach at low tide. Most visitors will take the opportunity for a walk, or simply spend time relaxing by whiling away time in the wide variety of locally owned and operated shops, galleries, pottery and of course restaurants, concentrated along the colourful Main Street.
If staying with us, from your base at The Cambrian Inn you can head out down the short Main Street through the village to enjoy the walks along the harbour edge, the foreshore and up the twin headlands and beyond along the coastal path. In the other direction you can take a mile and a half stroll up the quiet Middle Mill Lane, following the River Solva up the valley floor to the hamlet of Middle Mill where you will find one of only two fully working woollen mills in Pembrokeshire.
Finally crossing back over the bridge opposite The Cambrian Inn, and heading up the valley on the opposite bank of the river you can enjoy one of Solva’s best kept secrets, a lovely woodland walk.
