Details
Craflwyn Hall currently has 8 bedrooms, all located in the main building. We plan to add further bedrooms, including additional single rooms, during the forthcoming year by converting the adjacent outbuildings.
Our new Country House at Craflwyn Hall offers a stunning and peaceful location on the edge of Beddgelert village. There are superb walks right on the doorstep, with the local mountains of Snowdon and Moel Hebog within easy reach.
Craflwyn Hall once sat at the heart of an extensive estate which extended along the slopes of Snowdon. The building is now leased from the National Trust who carried out an extensive reburbishment in 2004 (a picture in the entrance hall shows the extent of the previous decay and neglect).
As our smallest Country House it offers a cosy and friendly atmosphere that is ideally suited to our sociable style of holidays.
Craflwyn Hall has a light and airy dining room and three smaller cosy lounges, all retaining their historic character. The property is leased from the National Trust, who carried out an extensive refurbishment in 2004 (a picture in the entrance hall shows the extent of the previous decay and neglect). Enjoy the magnificent views of mountains, rivers, waterfalls and Japanese gardens at our Dandelion Cafe (Dant y Llew in Welsh) at Craflwyn Hall in Beddgelert. The cafe is situated at the base of Snowdon, near the Watkin's Path and offers comfortable, relaxing surroundings inside and out, for you to enjoy the assortment of treats on offer. We have Wi-Fi access throughout. The first of our cafes in Wales, the Dant y Llew is also close to the site of Dinas Emrys. Children welcome from any age.
