Details
Alma House provides very well equipped, character accommodation in a peaceful rural setting. Visitors can fish where the River Cych joins the Teifi for salmon, sea trout and brown trout or simply enjoy the opportunity of watching the egrets, otters, kingfishers and dippers which inhabit the rivers which border our land.
Our 5-acre holding is classed as a ‘Site of Special Scientific Interest’ and we manage it organically with a large orchard, a nature reserve and sheep pasture. Our extensive, safely fenced gardens offer the ideal opportunity to relax in a hammock or to simply chill out overlooking wooded valleys and rolling fields.
We’re at the heart of a network of footpaths and close to the coast, a quick drive from the shops and within walking distance of two pubs. It’s an ideal base for touring this beautiful part of West Wales in an area where the Welsh language continues to be widely spoken.
Both the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion coast paths are a short drive away as are the market towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn with their castles and independent shops.
