Holiday Cottage: 7 Mersey Street, Borth-y-Gest, Near Porthmadog The cottage is situated directly off Mersey Street. The street, in the village of Borth-y-Gest, rises from sea level up the hillside. It is approximately 100 m from the free, main, level car park situated at sea level, and there are also parking bays approximately 50m further up from the cottage. The nearest bus stop is in the main car park and the nearest town is Porthmadog, one-mile distance, where there is a railway station. There is a local taxi service. The cottage is a typical two bed-roomed terraced dwelling built around 1900. There are a couple of steps to gain access to the ground floor accommodation of lounge and dining area and kitchen. A staircase from the lounge area accesses the first-floor. The first floor is of two bedrooms, landing, W.C. and bathroom. A terraced patio and garden area is at the rear and access is by means of stone steps. The property is well lit and floors are carpeted, timber or tiled. There is mobile phone coverage from the main providers, however the quality of reception can vary.
