An attractive 18th century, stone-built detached cottage near to the River Seiont, on the edge of Llanrug village, just 3 miles from the Snowdonian town of Llanberis. Providing cosy, character accommodation, this welcoming Wales cottage has exposed beams, a large stone inglenook fireplace with woodburner, a spacious bathroom with corner bath and a decked garden area, ideal for alfresco dining and enjoying the views of Mount Snowdon and the Llanberis Pass. Trout and salmon fishing is available on site, or there is a 3 mile country walk from the cottage to Lake Padarn and into Llanberis, home of Mount Snowdon. The whole of the National Park is available from the doorstep, including many historic castles, and miles of beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coastlines on the Lleyn Peninsula and the Isle of Anglesey. An inviting Llanrug cottage; a lovely retreat any time of year.

Self-catering accommodation Ship Cottage, Llanrug, Caernarfon, Gwynedd. OS grid reference SH5458/6384 The cottage has a large car park at the rear, turning in off a cul de sac. Luggage can be unloaded 8 metres from the entrance to the cottage onto a gravel surface under sensor lighting. Public transport (bus stop) is 70 metres from the cottage but will stop on request by the cottage. The owner lives close to the site and will meet customers to hand over the keys and introduce them to the property and can be contacted to assist whenever possible. · Entrance- across 3 metres of flagging to a 200mm step up on to decking via 1120mm opening. The door to enter cottage is 2 metres across the decking, it is 715mm wide and has a 100mm step into the utility/reception room. · Utility/reception room- offers the entrance to kitchen 650mm wide doorway and the bathroom 820mm wide doorway. · Kitchen/diner- worktop height 910mm with power points at back. Drop down electric oven door with gas hob. From dining area is entrance to lounge via 680mm wide doorway. · Lounge- remote control TV and DVD, 2 two seater sofas. Access to the front of the cottage via a 770mm wide doorway, down two steps 1st 80mm 2nd 50mm onto flagged area. Staircase to 2 bedrooms and WC has a right angle turn with 12 steps and a 180mm rise onto a landing. Banister rail on right hand side. · Bathroom- bath height 560mm with flexible shower hose, toilet height 430mm, wash basin height 820mm. · Double bedroom- entered from the landing via a 660mm wide doorway. Feather duvet and cotton sheets. · Two single bedroom- entered from the landing via a 650mm wide doorway. Contains shower cubicle up two steps 1st 200mm, 2nd 225mm entrance to cubicle 560mm wide. Feather duvet and cotton sheets. · Upstairs WC- entered off landing via 660mm doorway, toilet height 430mm, hand basin height 890mm. · Storage shed- lockable storage for bikes and canoes with wet weather clothing drying area, entered via 800mm doorway. On the car park 10metres from cottage. · Power points- kitchen and utility room 1200mm from floor the rest of the cottage they are 300mm from the floor. · Light switches- 1300mm from the floor. · Mobile phones- reception poor inside the cottage due to very thick stone walls but it is good just outside. · Public road access- from the car park there is a 1 in 8 gravelled rise to the cul de sac. Onto the pubic highway from the front doorway an 860mm wide gate with 3 steps, 1st 150mm, 2nd 90mm, 3rd 90mm. There is also a 2100mm gateway from the decking and garden area along a gently rising slate chipping path. August 2009
