Pen Y Bryn Barn

Pen Y Bryn Barn is a delightful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage with beautiful views over the Dee Valley, The Panorama and Dinas Bran Castle.

Set in a very private garden overlooking its own 1.2 acre field, the cottage very comfortably accommodates a family, 3 couples or a group of friends and each of the 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom providing convenience and privacy. We also have a travel cot with a mattress, and a high chair.

A spacious kitchen with a Nespresso machine, dishwasher and a large island makes a convivial place to prepare food and the adjacent dining room has a table for 6 as well as a wood burner for cosy winter meals or for a quiet read on one of the recliners listening to the record/cd player which also has Bluetooth. The sitting room has a TV with Freeview, Netflix and Amazon Prime and a sofa and chairs for 6 together with a desk if you need to catch up with work. Wi-Fi is available too.

On the large patio there is a table and benches and extra seating from where you can enjoy the sunset behind the ruined castle. There is also a brick built barbecue.

Behind the house there is a table tennis table, basketball net and a sauna for 2 people and a storage shed if you want to bring your bikes or store golf equipment. The Vale of Llangollen Golf Club is a 7 minute walk or 1 minute drive away. There is ample private parking for at least 2 cars.

There are short and long walks directly from the cottage door and the town of Llangollen is 1.4 miles/35 min walk for shops, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and the attractions of the steam train, horse drawn canal trips, white water rafting, canoeing, Plas Newydd house and gardens and Horseshoe Falls.
