Notes

The Old Farmhouse is approached from the main coast road via a lane approximately half a mile long climbing steadily up the contour of the hillside. (We are approximately 350ft above sea level). Parking area is provided for up to 7 cars (more than 1 per room). The parking area is within easy access to all rooms. All bedrooms are situated on the ground level although it must be said that because of the steep slope of the land on which The Old Farmhouse is located we consider it is not ideal for wheelchair users or guests who are not good with stairs. In addition, breakfast is taken in our dining room which is on the first floor. If you have any doubts in this regard please call to discuss your needs and we will do our best to help. Access to our two garden bedrooms is via two steps from the car park then two further steps over the room threshold. Access to bedrooms in the main house are via a standard kerb then two further steps. All bedrooms are accessed by door openings of 71cm and bathrooms of 65cm. Public transport is available with a regular bus service calling on the main coast road half a mile away and a train service about three quarters of a mile away, offering commuting to Birmingham, etc. There is a taxi service in the village. Guests are welcome to make use of our large outdoor swimming pool and hot spa but guests are reminded that both these facilities are unsupervised. Specific details can be provided at the time of use. All bedrooms are en suite (either shower or shower/bath) and have the benefit of flat screen TV/DVD's, and radio/alarms. Room lighting is provided by both ceiling lights and bedside lights. Specific requests in this area can be provided on request. Guests have the benefit of approximately 1.5 acres of garden, most of which is accessed from the car park, although slopes with the ground. It is the intention of both Tim and Sally to endeavour to provide facilities/accommodation for the widest range of guests needs. If you have any doubts or questions please call to discuss your requirements.
