Details
Black Mountain View offers a relaxed and simple holiday experience in the beautiful Welsh Border countryside, just 1½ miles from the popular border town of Hay-on-Wye, our small family run caravan park is set on an organic small holding. Our Park is situated on the Powys/ Herefordshire border, in the beautiful Wye Valley. From here you can take the short walk to The Offa’s Dyke Path, fish on the River Wye or simply take in the breathtaking views of the Black Mountains.
Make your self at home in one of our three fully equipped static caravans or hook up your own touring caravan on one of our spacious pitches. Having had many touring family holidays ourselves, we understand that good, clean facilities are important. We have a heated toilet and shower block, built in 2010, including disabled facilities/ family room. There is also excellent access from the main road.
The area is a great destination for walking the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park or other outdoor activities such as cycling, pony trekking, golfing or canoeing. Over the border, Herefordshire and The Golden Valley has something to offer everyone; historic market towns, breathtaking scenery and cultural attractions such as historic houses, museums and art galleries. Other local attractions include , Hay on Wye, the ‘Town of Books’ and it’s well know Festival of Literature, The Royal Welsh Agricultural Show at Builth Wells and The Brecon Jazz Festival.
