The Carthouse

About

The Carthouse is a recently renovated barn conversion situated on our family run caravan park. We have been awarded 4 Stars by Visit Wales, only missing out on 5 Stars due to not having the space to provide a bath.

This secret retreat is surrounded by farmland and is enclosed by mature trees. The park looks out at the towering Moel Bentyrch and its nestling valleys. The holiday cottage has been thoughtfully equipped to provide for your every need.

There are 2 double rooms with the option of an additional single bed if required. There is a sofa bed in the sitting room also available on request. There is oak flooring and central heating throughout the cottage. Use of a cot, highchair and stair gate are available. Linen and towels provided. Flat screen digital TVs and DVD players are provided in each room.

Outside there is a patio area with table and chairs and a BBQ provided for those warm sunny evenings. Other facilities on site include laundry, public telephone, fishing, play area and games room. The fishing lake lies two fields away and a five minute walk from the park, ensuring absolute peace and quiet.

There are many attractions near by such as Lake Vyrnwy, Powys Castle and Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway. We are situated near many golf courses and only a 20 minute drive from Welshpool Leisure Centre. Within the area there are many footpaths and walks including the Ann Griffiths walk and the Glyndwr Way. Approx. 1 hours drive to the nearest seaside towns.

There is an extra cost for the use of the washing and drying facilities
