Ty Mawr Country Park lies on the banks of the River Dee in the beautiful Vale of Llangollen, part of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area out Outstanding Natural Beauty
The park is easy to locate situated five miles south of Wrexham in the village of Cefn Mawr. Sign posted as 'Country Park' at the Llangollen/Ruabon exit of the A483, follow the brown on white signs to the park.
When visiting the county park, car park charges apply every day.
The daily charge is £1.00, however blue badge holders can park for free in any space with no time limit. Pay and display machines are located in convenient places in the car park. Payment at the machine is by cash only and visitors can also choose to pay by phone/ mobile App.
A season ticket can be purchased to cover parking charges at Alyn Waters Country Park, Nant Mill and Ty Mawr Country Park at a cost of £50 for a year.
