Tuition is provided, so all are welcome from novices to experienced boaters.
Anglo Welsh also offers 45-minute skippered return trips across the aqueduct on board the Trip Boat ‘Seren Fach’. With capacity for up to 48 passengers and refreshments available on board, this trip is a fantastic way sit back, relax and experience the stunning views across the Dee Valley.
Anglo Welsh base at Trevor has day boats available for hire for up to 10 passengers, with all the facilities you require for the perfect day out. Anglo Welsh also has a Trip Boat offering skippered trips over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
By road Trevor is situated 3 miles West of Ruabon on Llangollen Road from the A5 take the A483 to Ruabon and then the A539 towards Llangollen, at the top of the hill in Trevor turn down Station Road signed to Pontcysyllte and the Aqueduct at the bottom of the hill the road bears right, past the Telford pub, The Barge and gift shop is the next turning on the left.
By Rail. Ruabon station is on the Wolverhampton to Chester line from. From London you take a train from Euston station to Wolverhampton, and then change for the train to Ruabon. From Ruabon by taxi to Trevor about 3 miles.
