From Merthyr:
Take the A470 north to Brecon, at the roundabout go right on the A40 (Brecon bypass), at the next roundabout go right following the A40 towards Abergavenny. After approximately half a mile take the exit and follow the signs to Llangorse. On approaching Llangorse village take the turning signposted to the lake.

From Abergavenny:
Follow the A40 west as far as Bwlch. At Bwlch take the B4560 to Llangorse, drive through Llangorse and after passing the Red Lion pub on your left take the left hand road signposted to Brecon then take the next left signposted to the lake.

From Hereford:
Take the A438 to Bronllys, then follow the A479 to Talgarth. From Tagarth take the B4560 to Llangorse, go right at the first junction in the village towards Brecon and then take the turning on your left signposted to the lake.
